Here Paul meets with some of the members of the Chautauqua County chapter of Toastmasters to talk about what they provide and how people can get involved.

If like Paul, you think this segment is going to be about the delicious warm crispy goodness that is the toast we all know and love….sadly, but excitedly!…you are mistaken.

Toastmasters International work together to learn and develop public speaking and leadership skills. President of Chautauqua Talks, Ned Lindstrom, got in to Toastmasters because he enjoys talking to people. (He enjoys it even more when they listen!)

They offer a variety of different training techniques for a number of different situations. Whether it’s talking one on one for a job interview or giving a speech or presentation at work, communication skills affect every part of our life and practice really helps.

They meet at the Spire Theater on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month at 7pm and the public is welcome to visit and check it out. Come on down to the Spire Theater at 317 E 3rd St, Jamestown NY to help gain confidence and say goodbye to those butterflies!
